Vehicle Donation Program

Don't Trade It - Donate It®

Donate your vehicle to the American Lung Association® of Idaho's Vehicle Donation Program and the Internal Revenue Service will let you take a tax deductible, charitable contribution on your itemized federal tax return. Tax deductions for vehicle donations will be based on the selling (auction) price of the vehicle.

We offer FREE towing - you don't have to be there.

Your vehicle does NOT HAVE TO RUN.

Minimal paperwork involved.

To donate your car, you must have a title unencumbered by a lien.  The vehicle must be tow-able (all 4 tires must be inflated), there shouldn't be any major parts missing, and it must be in a location that it accessible to a tow truck.

Download the Vehicle Donation paperwork and mail or drop off it off to the American Lung Association® of Idaho, 8030 Emerald St., Ste. 175, Boise, ID 83704 to begin the donation process.  We will take your RV or boat, simply call us for more information.  Contact us with any questions at 208-345-5864.

Workplace Giving

Designations through workplace contributions provide ongoing and reliable support to our programs in your community.

If your United Way or corporate pledge card allows designations, please write in the American Lung Association® of Idaho.

If you give through a public employees campaign, please refer to your Donor's Guide and write in the code number for the American Lung Association® of Idaho.

Planned Giving

Planned gifts allow you to combine your financial needs with your philanthropic goals. These are typically gifts of asset, rather than gifts from income. Planned giving incorporates many forms of financial, tax and estate planning benefits, and are tailored to your needs. Contact your tax or legal advisor, or a planned giving representative for assistance in creating the planned gift that meets your goals. The American Lung Association® of Idaho can provide referral to estate planners, should you wish. We also provide information for estate planners whose clients have an interest in planned giving.

Lung Disease Programs

All donations support programs for children with asthma, support groups and patient and professional education seminars. Your donation also supports research to find cures for lung disease.

Tobacco Control

We have been at the forefront of the growing movement toward a tobacco-free society, helping children to remain tobacco-free and helping smokers to quit.

Environmental

The American Lung Association® of Idaho is a strong advocate in the fight against air pollution.
